FINAL | Seahawks 37, Vikings 30
Nothing good comes easy? That rang true Monday night as the Seahawks held onto a big lead to improve to 10-2 and take first place in the NFC West.
4Q | Seahawks 34, Vikings 30

Pass to Metcalf for the first down but then he fumbles.

Calling that an incomplete pass actually.

Vikings win the challenge and will take over. 9:31 left and still some work to do for Seattle.

Fake punt!
On the heels of a dud incompletion on third down, the Seahawks pulled a fake punt to perfection. A direct snap to Travis Homer went for a 29-yard run. A huge blow for the Vikings' comeback hopes and an even more huge momentum-booster for the Seahawks. This game has it all!

Jaw-dropping stat
Laquon Treadwell had 14.0 yards of separation from the nearest defender (Shaquill Griffin) when the pass arrived, the most open deep completion this season.

Domination
This is just ridiculous! On the ensuing possession after the Seahawks scored on a 60-yard pitch and catch, Tre Flowers comes up huge with an interception. Seattle again threatening to score on offense and stretch this lead.

Balanced attack
With a minute left in the third quarter, the Seahawks have a nice run-pass balance.
140 passing yards, 130 rushing yards.

ESPN reports that Stefon Diggs is OK and will return. He was shown running on the sideline. Cook headed to the locker room.

Turning tide
After the Seahawks tied the game at 17, the Vikings coughed up the ball and gave it right back to Seattle. Things continued to get worse from there, with both Stefon Diggs and Dalvin Cook down on the play.
This game has changed completely in just a few short minutes. More on Diggs and Cook to come.

Bob Condotta's halftime thoughts
Locket still getting going
It’s fair to assume Tyler Lockett is still not 100% from his thigh injury and illness last week as he has no catches in the first half.
That has him with just one in the last six quarters after he was injured in the win over the 49ers.
Lockett has just one target and it could have been a big one -- the third-down pass from Russell Wilson to end Seattle’s final series.
Lockett appeared to be open briefly but Wilson seemed to spot him late.
Wilson with baffling play
Well, the play that everyone will talk about is Wilson batting the tipped pass into the hands of Minnesota’s Anthony Harris that turned into a 20-yard pick six that allowed the Vikings to take a 17-10 halftime lead.
Wilson notoriously doesn’t want to led plays die but that was one time he should have let caution win the day and just accepted that the play was over.
Wilson now has three interceptions in his last six quarters plus overtime after having just one in the first nine games of the season.
Defense gives up field goal late
The defense rebounded well from the first series but then turned a little too lax on the last one to give up a field goal that could loom large as the Vikings will get the ball first to start the second half.
Suffice to say that will be a big series.
HALFTIME | Vikings 17, Seahawks 10
Bailey with a 47 yard FG as the half ends and Vikings take 17-10 lead. They will also get the ball first to start third quarter.

Missed TD opportunity ends with 3
Incomplete to Lockett on third down under heavy defense from Lockett. But field goal is good and it's 14-10 with 58 seconds left in first half.

What just happened?!
A wild pick-six by the Vikings makes it 14-7 Minnesota.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Armon Watts tipped it with his left hand back to Wilson who volleyballed it forward into the hands of Anthony Harris who returned it 20 yards for a TD and a 14-7 Vikings lead with 5:09 to play in second quarter.

Inactives for #SEAvsMIN
Seattle’s list of seven inactive players for the Seahawks' Monday night game vs. the Vikings included tight end Luke Willson, who missed his second straight game with a hamstring injury suffered against the 49ers, and first-round pick L.J. Collier.
Among the active players were veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney and defensive tackles Jarran Reed and Al Woods. All had been listed as questionable for the game, but coach Pete Carroll had said Saturday that all would play.
Also active was linebacker Mychal Kendricks, who was also questionable with a hamstring injury. Kendricks ran on the field prior to the game and got the OK from trainers to play.
Willson also went through a workout on the field about two and a half hours prior to the game but the team decided to hold him out for another week.
Collier, a defensive end, was active last week against the Eagles with Clowney out, but goes back to inactive this week with the rest of the defensive linemen healthy. Seattle has consistently gone with eight active defensive linemen and when everyone is healthy, Collier is the ninth right now.
Clowney is battling a sport hernia-type core muscle injury, but he had said Saturday that he was feeling better and would play.
The rest of the inactive players were fullback Nick Bellore, receiver John Ursua, running back C.J. Prosise, guard Phil Haynes and corneback Neiko Thorpe.
Bellore (quad) and Thorpe (groin) are both nursing injuries and the others are healthy scratches to get down to the game-day active roster maximum of 46.
Also among the active players was veteran receiver Jaron Brown, who had been inactive the past two games.
Here's the full list of inactives for Monday night:
• TE Luke Willson
• G Phil Haynes
• FB Nick Bellore
• CB Neiko Thorpe
• WR John Ursua
• DE L.J. Collier
• RB C.J. Prosise

Flu game
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that "roughly" eight Seahawks, including wide receiver Tyler Lockett, were battling the flu leading up to tonight's game but that Seattle expects them to play.
Roughly eight Seahawks were battling the flu the past week leading up to tonight’s game against Minnesota, including WRs Tyler Lockett and David Moore, per sources. None of the Seahawks with the flu were listed on the injury report, so Seattle expects them all to play tonight.
