The high-school football season culminates this weekend with the state championships in the Tacoma Dome.

Stay here all weekend for updates on all six championship games.

Here’s the schedule:

FRIDAY

2B, Napavine 34, Liberty 16

After advancing to the Class 2B state football championship only to fall short the last two seasons, the Tigers finally got their championship on Friday, defeating Liberty 34-16.

3A, Kamiakin 14, O’Dea 7 (OT)

Kamiakin ended eastern Washington’s drought in the Class 3A state title game with a 14-7 overtime win against top-ranked O’Dea. The Braves will travel back across the mountain pass with the football program’s first state championship. It’s also the first for the town of Kennewick.

SATURDAY

1A, Royal 25,  Connell 10

A year after hoisting the 2015 Class 1A championship trophy to the Tacoma Dome rafters, the Royal Eagles did so again, champions of the 2016 season. Royal defeated Connell in the title game 25-10.

2A, Archbishop Murphy 56, Liberty (Issaquah) 14

Archbishop Murphy completed a strange — but still undefeated — 2016 season with a blowout win in the Class 2A title game. Its season saw five opponents forfeit because of competitiveness concerns, leading the WIAA to announce the formation of an offseason committee to address said concerns.

1B, Neah Bay 64, Odessa-Harrington 34

If Royal winning back-to-back titles needed to be one-upped, you could argue Neah Bay did so. It scored the most points of the weekend on its way to winning its third Class 1B state championship in the last four seasons, 64-34, over Odessa-Harrington.

4A, Camas 24, Richland 14

The Camas Papermakers completed an undefeated season and won their first state championship in school history with a 24-14 victory over Richland in the Class 4A title game.
